THE STUDENT BIENNALE 2026–27
The Ministry of Culture, Government of India and The Ardee Foundation present the 1st edition of The Student Biennale, bringing together student artists and creative practitioners from educational institutions across India.
The Biennale invites students to explore India’s rich cultural heritage and engage with artistic expressions across generations, fostering a deeper appreciation of art and contemporary creative practice.
About the Institution
Established in 1997 by the late Shri Ashok Varma, Ardee Foundation is now led by Shefali Varma, who also serves as an Advisor on the Board of the Kochi Biennale Foundation.
Under the leadership of Ms. Shefali Varma, Chairperson of the Ardee Group, the Ardee Foundation works as a living bridge between art and education, championing student creativity and cultural engagements. Through The Ardee Schools, the Foundation has developed a progressive model of art in education that encourages critical inquiry and meaningful cultural engagement.
By fostering this vital bridge between art and education, Ardee Foundation continues to enrich communities and empower future generations, ensuring that learning and culture remain integral to the social and creative fabric of our legacy.
